As I have made slight change to the ticket post, I wanted to explain why and make a couple of requests that the Ticket Team would like to see come into effect as soon as possible.
The change, for those who didn't read the ticket post, is that where appropriate I will not be doing a summary but instead copying the submission from the ticketing party. This means I would request all team owners to encourage their drivers to add a line or two as to why they have submitted. In addition to this, if the clip submitted is lengthy, please also point out the place on the video that the incident occurs.
The reason for this change is two fold. First, you are the people that have been wronged. Why shouldn't your voice be heard? Just please be aware to remember that others will read it. Don't make me get the editting pen out.
Secondly, we are growing. The more we grow, the more tickets there will be and it will be nigh on impossible to write 20+ ticket threads. So you lot can help. It will help me to try and keep the thing entertaining for you all.
Lastly, we have been receiving a lot of tickets for penalty removals. Nothing new there, but what we are finding is that there are some where there are multiple warnings leading up to that penalty. From here on in, if the penalty is only for corner cutting or track extending and no other vehicle is involved, then the Ticket Team will also need to see evidence from the race director that no other warnings were given during that lap. If there was, then please record those warnings. If you get a warning unjustly and then what is deemed to be a correct warning later on that results in a penalty, we cant do anything about it if we cant see all the evidence. As such, these tickets will never go in your favour.
Long story short is, please supply sufficient evidence and please try and tell us a bit more about your view point in the submission.
Thanks, and enjoy this weeks race
P.S. First front page news post. WOOHOO!!
