I would say that the confusion was more caused by the two drivers that seemed to think there is a problem overtaking a slow moving car in the formation lap. leo was to the far right of the racing line and causing zero problems to anyone.

This is ignoring the race director’s instructions to catch the safety car queue and would appear he was trying to make a gap for his teammate to pit into which is against league rules. While his teammate doesn’t pit the act of slowing down should still be punished.

For reference a clip of me going offline has been included with wing damage and im still flat through the corner and am no where near as slow as Chaz was, which leads me to think he has either lifted or braked in an attempt to slow me down.

As Dean takes the turn on the left hander, Senna attempts an overtake on a part of the track that was always going to close. Dean was following the racing line due to the very (very) wet conditions, knowing that veering off the racing line on aged tyres would lose him grip and time. Senna attempts an overtake approaching the turn at a narrow angle which would always result in him drifting across the track into Dean.

Rule 32j mentions leaving a cars width through the turn and an overtaking car is only deemed alongside when the front axel is alongside the rear axle of the car in front. At no point was Senna's front axel alongside Dean's rear axel until the point that Senna runs into the side of Dean (due to the angle Senna enters the turn). Senna attempt to create overlap without consideration of the conditions and corner entry line that Dean was taking. This then contravenes rule 32L where the overtaking car must take care when overtaking and the overtaking car must avoid collisions when completing the move. Senna does not do this.

This is not the first time that Senna has shown impatience when looking to overtake Dean (see Singapore in an almost exact same scenario). As Dean has previously said this season, he is not going to "roll over and let his belly be tickled" when cars look to overtake him like he may have done so in previous seasons!

Upon full review of the incident that caused the restart of the lobby, the senior admins believe that this incident should be forwarded to the stewards.

We feel that the incident is severe enough to be ticketed, and understand that drivers were told they could not submit due to a lobby restart. This is incorrect and the incident which causes the lobby restart only can be ticketed.

The incident itself, we believe that Barnes took no action to slow the car down and avoid the wall, which caused the incident which took both himself and F1XL Senna out of the race. The safety car was heading out before the contact between Barnes and Qeuzi therefore minimal people would have been impacted

Regarding the incident with Arnie and Alany, I do not believe Alan was in full control of his car as you can see the car starting to drift in Scotsman's clip

While I accept that I caused phase 2 of the incident, this wouldn’t have even been an issue had phase one of the incident not taken place. It was an unsafe rejoin from Alany which tipped Arnie into a spin which then caused me damage. So I feel that if I am to be punished for what occurred after the incident, then Alany should also be punished for the unsafe rejoin that caused the initial incident

Despite the carnage, on balance after taking into account the wet conditions, the recovering car back onto track that causes Barnes to lose his full wing and the short time between the wing loss and contact with the barrier, it is felt that Barnes is not to blame for the lobby restart. As Martin Brundle would say, he was caught up in a situation that "took him straight to the scene of the accident"!

Im not saying no contact was made clearly it was, but from both angles you can clearly see it is the smallest wheel bang.

I saw he was compromised and took the opportunity by trying to go around the outside.

You can definitely argue there was more space to the outside but I would've been giving myself a horrible line, aswell as the fact there is also clearly more space on the inside. He isn't even touching the inside kerb, which I know can be a dangerous kerb however if it is necessary to be used considering the situation, it can definitely be used.

For me this is genuinly just a racing incident, I dont understand how such small contact results in the car being lost how it was.

32.    Overtaking And Defending

n.    If a driver's car is ghosted, they must continue to race as though it is not. Using the situation to their advantage by driving purposefully through other cars is prohibited.

In pit lane under SC, Sparrow is adjusting settings and his car goes into ghost mode.

Linx comes round the corner and drives straight through him taking advantage of the ghosting which shouldn't of happend and overtook him, gaining an advantage into the pits.

My main argument here is the fact that Linx dosent drive around him, he blatantly uses the ghosting car which he can see isn't an ai to his advantage.

He is completely allowed to overtake a sparrow who is going slow into the pits under sc as that is a rule that is allowed, however he didnt drive around him to complete the move he drove straight through him, which according to the rulebook shouldn't be allowed.

While there is slight contact it is not over speed and from my pov its only a very slight touch to his front wing and you can see he doesn't take any damage. I believe this is a mix of net code and Tyler squeezing me far too aggressively. i had no overspeed as i was not going to over shoot the corner. In fact on Tyler's pov you see him make a slight reactionary jink to the right in the braking zone after i make my move to the inside.

Heading down the long back straight I have DRS while BT does not and I’m gaining on him at a fast rate. As we approach the left-hand curve he moves to the right creating an opening on the inside, then moves again to close that gap forcing me to lift off throttle and lose my momentum.

Shortly after as we approach the chicane at the end of the back straight BT just drives into the side of me forcing me into the wall and off track. I try to take to the grass to rejoin after the chicane but I spin when rejoining and ultimately end up at the back of the pack. BT could have done the fair thing and yielded the position before the chicane, especially given his weaving on the straight just before. There is no room for me to move any further right prior to the chicane so BT’s actions in this incident feel malicious.

Warder squeezed me far too tight onto the inside grass causing me to get dirty tires which pushes me wide. He causes this incident by squeezing far too hard then when he rejoins he drives straight into my sidepod. I had ample right to make the move and was far enough along side. I dont understand why the other 2 clips from him are in this ticket.

Appeal defence - I feel the overtaking car is predominantly at fault. Reasons being - Linx was not sufficiently alongside at the turn-in point and attempted a late move under breaking to create overlap at a corner which should be tried at. I take my normal line into that corner, which has started before Linx tried the dive bomb. As a result, they were unable to maintain a controlled line through the corner and caused contact and force me off the line. Tyre wear or grip limitations do no justify the move, as it remains the responsibility of the overtaking driver to complete the pass safely and within control. The line taken by Linx for that corner, was to shallow to ever make the corner cleanly, which would have lead to me being pushed out further wide had I taken "avoiding action". Either way would have ruined my race. To add to that, the previous two 2 incidents showed over aggression from Linx which hasn't been taken into account for.

We believe based on the rulebook, to be more specific rules in section 33 b, and 33 c, aswell as 28 e, a warning here is not sufficient.

Rule Section 28 E - If a driver is deemed to have gained an advantage by leaving the track, they must make every effort to give back the whole of any advantage gained. 

Rule Section 33 B - When a driver gives up a position gained illegally (by leaving the track for example), letting the other driver get ahead is not sufficient. They are expected to end the wheel-to-wheel battle before attempting another overtaking manoeuvre.

Rule Section 33 C - In case of illegal overtakes, hit-to-pass, etc, drivers must give back the position at the earliest opportunity. Not doing so will result in a penalty.

It uses the words "Will result in a penalty". Hence why we are appealing this as based on the rules a warning is not sufficient.

He gained an advantage by going off track, never yielded that advantage or ended the wheel to wheel racing therefore this should fall under those rules as a penalty.

It seems very harsh to penalise a driver for locking up and collecting another driver, especially when that driver has cheated to be in that position in the first place. The corner prior (as shown on the clip) Jamie completely forces Stef off track when he should have left him space. If he had left Stef space, it would have meant he would have to had taken a tighter line meaning his exit would have been slower, and thus not alongside for the next corner. For the stewards to not even acknowledge this is beyond belief, especially considering a driver was penalised for forcing another car off in this same division at the very same corner.

All we ask for here is a little bit of consistency from the stewards. An incident very similar to this happened in this division( Harrison vs Crabz) and was penalised yet this one wasn’t. Stef hasn’t turned into the corner early, Jamie has out braked himself. Not to mention the fact that Jamie isn’t entitled to space for the corner as his front axle isn’t ahead of Stefs rear axle, meaning Stef can take whatever racing line he likes. Jamie pushed Stef off multiple times during the race at this corner (see new evidence) which breaks the rules of racing in this league, not to mention the fact it shows a complete lack of respect to Stef by doing this multiple times. It was clear Stef was faster and that Jamie was desperate to keep him behind even if this meant forcing Stef off track multiple times which is unacceptable.

2 extremely dangerous moves on the penultimate lap whilst the guy hes racing dosent have a pen. Just a bit of foul play to be honest.

absolutely have zero problem with admitting Leo could have been more careful at the start of the clip. However, at the hairpin the point he brakes is reasonable under normal circumstances but the tyres are not in a good condition at all. 

And finally, I dont think you can term a move "sending it" when he is within 2 tenths of a seconds going into a corner. Of course Leo is going to try a move. Sky is completely aware that Leo is there, should be aware that he is going to make a move and instead turns to take the corner as though he isnt. This incident was as much Sky's doing as it was Leo's

LAP 25 - Richy is attempting to overtake Bray and in the braking zone gets a slight tap from bray causing him to slightly lose control, which pushes bray wider. As bray re-enters the track, he ghosts going inside richy... if he didnt ghost he would of rejoined unsafely and caused a bigger issue.

Overtaking on the outside will always be viewed as a more difficult manoeuvre to accomplish.

Although contact is made by Ceaser, the key piece of the footage which appears to be missed is that Chetty moves under braking from the left of the track to the right of the track. Looking at rule 32g, this would mean that Chetty should be punished as without Chetty moving under braking, there is a clear line for Ceaser to attack the outside of the corner using the braking he was using.

Response fro Chetty:
Firstly, we aren't sure why this was not submitted in defence or as its own ticket as it is a completely separate incident to what follows. Secondly the very slight movement under braking has no consequence whatsoever.

Regarding the slight move to the right at the very start pf the brakong zone, this was made as a precaution incase the car infront turned early to avoid a collision. It was done safely as it did not cause any incident.

The incident that followed was caused by late braking into Turn 1 and the Alpine trying to put their car into a gap that didn't exist.

Tyler hit me coming into the last corner, turning into me causing me to half spin and lose places as a result. Although he tried to hand the space back to me I end up losing out overall and the way he handed the space back was dangerous as he veered across my path to hand the place back.

31. Driving Standards,

a.    At no time may a car be driven unnecessarily slowly, erratically, or in any manner that may be deemed potentially dangerous.

Giving Back a Position,

33 a.    A driver looking to give a position away should first make sure it is safe to do so. Unsafely letting a car through might result in a penalty.

33 c.    In case of illegal overtakes, hit-to-pass, etc, drivers must give back the position at the earliest opportunity. Not doing so will result in a penalty. That rule still applies if the overtaken driver lost one or multiple places. However, if both the overtaking and overtaken driver have lost a position due to such incidents, the overtaking driver is not required to give up the position as they are likely to be penalised for causing the overtaken driver to lose a position.

Slowing down is against rule 31a, especially given the number of cars elsewhere around them. There is a clip where Barnes had to take evasive action to avoid Tyler too and also against rule 33a (it wasn't safe to do so where it was).

Also, although he overtakes and looks to give the position back as per rule 33c, as both Tyler and Dean lost positions due to the contact from Tyler on Dean, Tyler is not required to give the position back (his own fault that he chose to give the position back) and it becomes irrelevant that he did this. Tyler should be penalised for causing the overtaken driver (ie Dean) to lose a place.

As shown from Tyler’s POV it looks like Dean is the one to initiate contact with Tyler pushing Tyler off the track. The game penalises this with an illegal overtake on Tyler which he has to give back. He makes his intentions very clear to what he is doing and doesn’t cause an accident.

In the aftermath, F1XL Senna sends one from 0.4 back into turn 1, makes contact with my sidepod which puts me out of shape. while wrestling the car back on the straight and narrow, i end up losing a position to TylerJames

Based off of the penalties ahead he was going to claim his first win in F1XL and on the final turn Arnie badly misses his braking point and sends Sparrow spinning around.

Arnie is a good lad and everything we know this wasn't intentional but this was absolutely brutal and wildly unnecessary he wasnt going to gain a thing by braking later. It has cost Sparrow 15 points aswell as his first win.
